The 21st round of Formula 1 was held in Brazil, the last sprint week of the season was held at Interlagos, the qualifying took place in transitional weather, due to which an unexpected result was recorded. Qualifying was stopped with red flags due to George Russell’s incident 8 minutes earlier in the third segment, and due to the worsening weather, nobody could improve Kevin Magnussen’s time, as a result, pole position was left to Dane.

The sprint race was dominated by Mercedes, with George Russell taking the first position, and Lewis Hamilton qualifying from 8th position to eventually take 2nd place. Carlos Sainz finished third, Ferrari driver was 4.051 seconds behind.

The race, saturated with many contacts and collisions, turned out to be quite tense, in the end, three pilots of the Brazilian Grand Prix were eliminated, two of them – on the very first lap.
