  “I agree with Arsene Wenger. The balance between football clubs and players has gone too far in favour of players and this issue needs to be addressed. Players need to honour their contracts to the letter and the spirit of it. Maybe, the football clubs shoud insert more clauses, restrictions and heavier fines when players step out of line for whatever reasons. One idea might be that if the player wants to move before his contract ends he should pay back all the money including salary, signing on fees, image rights and any transfer fees etc that he earned during his time at the club. Hopefully that will stop the player thinking about chasing the highest bidder for his services. Players nowadays do not have any loyalty, except the £ sign who can pay him the largest amount of money for the least amount of effort. ”
