24-year-old Stefanos Tsitsipas will take part in the Australian Open final.

The Greek tennis player beat Karen Khachanov in four sets in the AO semifinals 7-6(2), 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-3.

Most of the match was dominated by Stefanos. He kept the opponent under constant pressure. The match lasted three hours and 21 minutes.

Tsitsipas offered his fiery game to his opponent. In the second set, the Greek won one of the best rallies of the tournament:

Tsitsipas defeated Khachanov already for the sixth time and maintained a 100% win rate in the head-to-head series.

So, Stefanos will face Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open final. In addition to the maiden major trophy, the number 1 spot in the world ranking is at stake.

The Greek is happy to reach the Grand Slam final:

“This is the moment you fight for all your life. Such finals are especially important. This is the Grand Slam final and the battle for first place.”

“This is what you dream about since childhood. I am very close to the goal. I am glad that I will have the opportunity to win the Grand Slam for the first time in Australia,” – said Tsitsipas.

The Australian Open final will be held on January 29. Can Stefanos stop Novak?
