Ken Block – rally driver and YouTube sensation died in a snowmobile accident

Ken Block, a pro rally driver who subsequently became an online phenomenon with his daring feats behind the wheel, died in a snowmobile accident at the age of 55.

His rally team Hoonigan Racing expressed condolence in social network.

The tragedy happened in Wasatch County, Utah. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Block was riding on a steep hill when the snowmobile overturned and landed on top of him.

He was riding in a group but was alone at the time of the accident.

Block was crowned Rookie of the Year in the Rally America Championship after beginning his rallying career in 2005.
