The new Premier League 2024-25 season is now under way. Promising 38 rounds of thrilling matches, weekends packed with action, occasional midweek fixtures, and the festive excitement of Boxing Day.

A Reminder of the Premier League 2023-24 Season
Before diving into the new season, let’s take a moment to recall the highlights of the last season. Manchester City clinched a record fourth consecutive championship under the masterful guidance of Pep Guardiola, who left an indelible mark on the history of both the club and the Premier League.
Notably, Pep Guardiola was named the best coach of the season, while Phil Foden took home the Player of the Season award. Erling Haaland won the Golden Boot with an impressive 27 goals. Additionally, the Association of Football Writers recognized Phil Foden as the best player of the season.
Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United earned the Best Goal of the Season accolade, and Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski was celebrated for the Best Save.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa secured spots in the Champions League, while Tottenham and Manchester United qualified for the Europa League. Chelsea will compete in the Conference League playoffs.

Premier League 2024-25 Season Schedule
The 2024-25 Premier League season kicks off on Friday, August 16, at Old Trafford with a match between Manchester United and Fulham. This season’s start is a week later than usual due to the Euro 2024 tournament, pushing the final matchday to May 25, 2025.
Due to the delayed start, there will be no mid-season winter break. Instead, teams will be strategically rotated to allow for necessary rest, with only ten teams playing one week in January and the remaining ten the following week.

Premier League 2024-25 – Managers
Just three head coaches left their posts during the 2023–24 season, a stark contrast to the previous 2022–23 campaign, which saw a record-breaking fourteen managerial changes. This shift was more about scheduling than a change in perspective.
During the summer of 2024, no fewer than five Premier League clubs replaced their head coaches. Jurgen Klopp’s abrupt departure from Liverpool led to a change in leadership. This season, Arne Slot will be among five managers making their Premier League debut. The others include Enzo Maresca for Chelsea, Fabian Hurzeler for Brighton, Steve Cooper for Leicester City, and Julen Lopetegui for West Ham United.

Premier League 2024-25 – Transfers
On Friday, June 14th, the 2024 Summer Transfer Window formally opened. Premier League clubs will have until August 30th to register new players. On the Premier League website and app, you can view every in and out announced by the 2024–25 clubs.
