After a cancerous tumor was detected in July, just days after joining the Bundesliga team from Ajax, the Frenchman underwent chemotherapy.

Haller returned to training with Edin Terzic’s side in Marbella last week and came on in the second half of Dortmund’s 5-1 victory.
