Daley Blind and Ajax have agreed to end their contract 6 months earlier. The Amsterdam club has officially confirmed the contract suspension.
The 32-year-old defender made 333 appearances for Ajax. At the age of eight, the younger Blind joined the Amsterdam team’s academy.
Blind led Ajax to seven Eredivisie titles. He has 13 goals to his credit.
“Over the course of the last few days, we reached an agreement with Daley to terminate his contract.
I hope he can find another club to end his successful career with.
Together with Daley, we have decided on a match in the ArenA where he can say a proper goodbye to the supporters.”

Blind moved to Manchester United in 2014-2018 before returning to his hometown club.
Blind played in all Eredivisie matches this season, with the exception of the match against PSV.
In addition, he appeared in 11 national team matches in 2022, including the World Cup, scoring one goal and providing five assists.
