Setanta Sports expands its broadcasting in the Baltic countries and adds a second TV channel | Setanta Sports

Setanta Sports is broadening its broadcast reach in the Baltic countries, launching a second TV channel
this September in response to the increasing demand for sports content in the region.

Since October 2014, Setanta Sports has maintained a single television channel presence in Latvia,
Lithuania, and Estonia. However, in 2022, the sports OTT platform, setantasports.com, made its debut in
the Baltic States, introducing fans to a fresh way of experiencing sports broadcasts.

The push for an additional channel in the region stemmed from an active engagement by viewers with
local athletes, particularly in basketball and tennis tournaments, in addition to the top leagues and
premium sports content.

From the 2023/2024 season, fans will be able to watch the Saudi Pro League Italian and Turkish
basketball leagues on Setanta Sports channels and the OTT platform.

Nine years of operation in the Baltic States has revealed a strong desire from fans for more live
broadcasts and a wider range of sports packages. As a result, from September 1, sports enthusiasts in
Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia can look forward to continuous live content, collections, and highlights on
the Setanta Sports 2 TV channel.

Setanta Sports provides Baltic sports fans access to events such as Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, French
Ligue 1, Dutch Eredivisie, Saudi Pro League, Belgian Pro League, Scottish Premiership, Turkish Basketball
League, Lega Basket Serie A – Italian Basketball League, WTA Tournaments, NASCAR and Bellator.
