After long and tough injury, 25 years old German is going to be back on court in December.
Alexander Zverev is still recovering since he got injured in French Open semifinal against Rafa Nadal. Initially, he was expected to return in September, however because of edema on his foot the plan has been changed.
Now we know that Sascha is planning to participate in exhibition tournaments next month. He will start in Saudi Arabia at Diriah Tennis Cup, following United Cup in Australia. Mischa Zverev, brother of Sascha, spoke around this:
“We were able to train perfectly last week. Sascha is pain free now and he feels much better. He has not played any match since Roland Garros. So we thought it would be great to start with exhibition tournaments after long pause. Also, Germany will have brilliant team for United Cup”, – said Mischa.
